HOW IT WORKS

There are two kinds of Small Group Circles. Module 1 Circle is dedicated to Career Counseling and Module 2 Circle is dedicated to College Counseling. In the first, we work on topics related to career and fields of study, that is, what you want to study and do in your future. In the second, we investigate options for where to study and begin preparing application materials. You can find out more about the curriculum of each module by clicking on the links.

Small Group Circles usually meet online, unless we are in the same country, state and city! In that case, we can meet in a home, a school or a community space like a library. Taxa de deslocamento depois de X km.

Each module is organized in 8 sessions. When you sign up for a Circle, please select Module 1 or Module 2. Of course, you can do both, but you will always begin with one.

Although Circles can have people from anywhere in the Americas, we aim to group people by country, timezone and language. (Groups can be run in Portuguese, Spanish or English).

Depending on the number of participants, Small Group Circles will have different durations. For example, a two person Circle will last 1 hr, while a 7 person Circle will last 1 hour and a half.

Small Group Circles organized by Dr. Julia Kirst will have up to 7 participants and have a fixed fee of $xxx per person--or a rough equivalent of that in your country's currency.

This fee is for one module and is typically paid in two-month installments of $xxx, that is, for the duration of an 8-week module.

Small Group Circles requested by families, schools or community spaces have the cost of a "regular circle" divided by the number of participants. Thus, a circle with 2 people will cost more than a circle with 7 people. As a reference, please consult the pricing table below.

The first installment is due when you register, before the start of the group. This is how you guarantee your spot. The second installment is due at the start of the second month of the circle you signed up for.

New Small Group Circles begin the first week of the month and continue for the following 8 weeks. We skip a week or two if our original dates coincide with vacation weeks and holidays in your country.

In June 2025, we begin modules that meet for 8 weeks on Tuesday evenings.

In July 2025, we begin modules that meet for 8 weeks on Wednesday evenings.

In August 2025, we begin modules that meet for 8 weeks on Thursday evenings.

In September 2025, we begin modules that meet for 8 weeks on Tuesday evenings, thus starting the cycle all over again.
